Faith in the Military and Honor Flight
Please join us on Thurs, Jan 31, 6:30-8:00 pm in the Cafeteria and listen to Lt. Gen Bill Welser III – all men invited!
Come join us and kickoff the new year with an evening of fellowship with Lt. Gen Bill Welser III. Bill served our country for over 34 years in the USAF, retiring as a Lieutenant General in 2005. He held many positions from an Aircraft Maintenance Officer to a Command Pilot, logging over 3,500 hours, as well as numerous key staff positions including a tour on the Joint Staff. Bill moved to Brevard County in 2006 and has served as the President of the Space Coast Honor Flight Board making it possible to honor over 1,300 World War II, Korean War and Vietnam Veterans by providing an opportunity for them to visit their monuments in Washington DC. He has also served with Habitat for Humanity and is an active member of the Patrick AFB St. George’s Catholic Parish and sings in the choir. We will gather in the Life Center Café for fellowship, worship, pizza and drinks followed by Lt. Gen Welser’s presentation, discussion and prayer!
