Volunteer Opportunities
Parishes throughout the Diocese of Orlando are bringing the Catholic faith alive to those who are incarcerated in jails and prisons throughout Central Florida as well as supporting families and assisting with re-entry programs.
John Punderson (email) is familiar with all of the below ministries and their leaders. He is glad to answer inquiries and provide guidance to prospective volunteers in this rewarding and vital ministry.

- Kairos Prison Ministry Int’l at Central Florida Reception Center. Open to men. An ecumenical prison ministry modeled on the Cursillo Movement. For more information, please contact Kevin Sheehan,

- St Peter Claver Prison Ministry (SPCPM) in concert with Society of St Vincent de Paul, a reentry ministry available to men and women, volunteer opportunities inside and outside of prison.
