About Our Programs

We strive to create an environment that meets the spiritual, educational, social and emotional needs of today’s teens.  Teens grow as a faith community, increasing in understanding of what it means to be young and Catholic in today’s world.  Through the Mass and The EDGE and Life Nights, teens learn more about their Catholic faith and grow to love the Sacraments, the Word and the Mass.

 

As a Eucharist-centered movement within the Roman Catholic Church, Life Teen leads teenagers and their families into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.  With the Blessed Virgin Mary as our intercessor and guide, Life Teen seeks to unleash the fullness of the Sacramental power present within the young Church.

LIFE TEEN (High School)

High School teens are welcome to join us Sunday night at 5:00 pm for Mass followed by our Life Nights until 8:00 pm. Life Teen encourages teens to grow as a faith community, increasing in understanding of what it means to be young and Catholic in today’s world. Through the Mass and Life Nights, high school teens learn more about their Catholic faith and grow to love the Sacraments, the Word, and the Mass.

 

 

EDGE (Middle School)

EDGE is HNJ’s Middle School Ministry. We invite all 6th-8th graders to join us on Wednesday Nights from 6:00-7:30 pm in our Youth Room.   We strive to give our young people opportunities to learn about their faith, ask questions, talk about their relationship with God, and grow in community together as young Catholics.

Parent Life Ministry

This ministry's purpose is to encourage faith, family, discussion & prayer. All parents of middle and high school aged teens are welcome.  If you'd like to remain in touch regarding upcoming information and events, please request to be added to our Facebook group.

Volunteer

Is God calling you to do more with your faith? Do you like spending time with teens? Are you creative, musical, organized, funny and/or have a passion for sharing Christ's love with others? If so, we ask you to consider sharing your talents with one of the Edge or Life Teen ministries. Without our teens there would be no hope for our future, without our adult leaders there would be no role models for our teens!  

 

Volunteer Teams:  Prayer, Hospitality, Core Special Events, Donor Support

Those working directly with our youth will need to complete the Diocese of Orlando Safe Environment Training & Background Check.
