Dear parishioners of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Community,
I hope this note finds you and yours doing well as we strive to reflect the Light of Christ in our words and actions. We, as the family of God, continue to pray for healing and renewal within the Catholic Church and for justice and peace for the victims of abuse at the hands of Church leadership and its members. In order to embrace this endeavor and for the sake of transparency, Bishop Noonan has offered a pastoral letter reflecting how our diocese is cooperating with Florida District Attorney Pam Bondi and her staff in reviewing the Safe Environment policies, procedures and practices that we have in place to protect the vulnerable of our parishes and schools. Through the intercession of St. Francis of Assisi, whose feast day we celebrate today, may we strive to rebuild the Church through the virtues of faith, hope and love for future generations. May the Lord Jesus, our Good Shepherd, guide us always in the way of peace.
