The quickest way to be transformed into a saint is through a relationship with Our Blessed Mother, Mary. We will begin with 8:30 am Mass, followed by a continental breakfast. Our guest speaker, Christine Miesowicz, will give a teaching and reflection on the "Women in Jesus' Genealogy", mentioned in the Gospel of Matthew. Who are they and why might they be mentioned? During this time of Advent, when we look backward and look forward, let us take some time to learn about these women and reflect on how God works in our stories. Our speaker, Christine, is a trained spiritual director and retreat leader, with over 15 years of experience in parish ministry, youth ministry and lifelong faith formation. Women in the parish are invited to join us at the CCW Advent Retreat on Sat, Dec 7, from 8:30 am to 12:00 noon in the Community Room for reflection and preparation of our hearts for Christmas.
We will begin with 8:30 am Mass, followed by a continental breakfast. Our guest speaker, Christine Miesowicz, will give a teaching and reflection on the "Women in Jesus' Genealogy", mentioned in the Gospel of Matthew. Who are they and why might they be mentioned? During this time of Advent, when we look backward and look forward, let us take some time to learn about these women and reflect on how God works in our stories. Our speaker, Christine, is a trained spiritual director and retreat leader, with over 15 years of experience in parish ministry, youth ministry and lifelong faith formation. She has her masters in Pastoral Ministry with a concentration in spirituality from Boston College. Please join us

Dear Parents, this year the HNJ Children’s Choir (Gr. 3-8) will sing at the Christmas Vigil Mass in the Life Center Hall on Tues, Dec 24, starting with a Christmas concert at 5:40 pm with the Mass following at 6:00 pm.
The Choir will rehearse on Wednesdays from 5:15 to 6:00 pm, starting Nov 13 & 20 and Dec 4 & 11 in the parish music studio. Our final rehearsal will be Mon, Dec 23, from 5:00-6:30 pm in the Life Center Hall ending with a pizza party in the Community Room. Pizza will be provided. Any parent that would like to bring veggies or brownies or cookies and help set up and clean up would be appreciated. Please let me know.
