Important Message from your Pastor

Dear Holy Name of Jesus Parishioners:

Bishop Noonan, in consultation with the Florida Conference of Bishops, has decided to make the necessary steps to begin opening our parish communities. Please note: the dispensation from the Sunday Mass obligation will continue until further notice. Our Sunday and Wednesday Mass recordings will still be available for viewing. It is recommended that parishioners who may feel uncomfortable in group settings or those with prior health conditions please remain in social isolation for the time being.

  • Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 (no weekend opening yet)

The doors to HNJ’s Main Church will be open from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm to allow people to come in and offer personal prayer. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm in the Main Church.  Appropriate social distancing will be required and masks are highly recommended. People may be denied entrance or asked to leave if the numbers become greater than social distancing would allow.

The Daily Chapel and Adoration Chapel will remain closed.

No public Masses will be celebrated.

  • Monday, May 18 – Saturday, May 30 (no Sunday opening yet)

Our regularly scheduled Daily Masses (7:00 am and 8:30 am Monday – Friday, 8:30 am on Saturday) will once again resume in the Main Church.  Appropriate social distancing will be required and masks are highly recommended. People may be denied entrance or asked to leave if the numbers become greater than social distancing would allow.  The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available by appointment.

The Daily Chapel and Adoration Chapel will remain closed.

No public Sunday Masses will be celebrated.

  • Sunday, May 30-31 The Feast of Pentecost

Our regularly scheduled Sunday Masses (4:30 pm Saturday Vigil, 7:15 am, 8:45 am, 10:30 am, 12:15 pm and 5:00 pm) will once again resume in the Main Church. Confessions will resume on Saturday 5/30 at 3:15 pm. Appropriate social distancing will be required and masks are highly recommended. People may be denied entrance or asked to leave if the numbers become greater than social distancing would allow.

The Daily Chapel and Adoration Chapel will remain closed.

Thank you all for your cooperation and may God bless and protect us!
