Staff Member: Marion Ambrose
Mrs. Ambrose earned her BA in Elementary Education from Brooklyn College and her MS in Educational Leadership from Barry University. She has taught Music, Art, grades 1 through 5, Middle School Science and Social Studies, has served as Media Specialist for 3 years and as Assistant Principal for 6 years. She has been on staff at HNJ for a total of 33 years. . She has worked as a Learning Coach for Florida Virtual School and as a private tutor. She is involved in community service with The Center for Great Apes, Save Green Gables, GFWC Melbourne Woman's Club (where she serves as President) , GFWC District 6 (Where she serves as Chaplain) and GFWC Florida (Where she serves as State Hacienda Girls Ranch Chair). She is a member of an on-call rescue team for the Marine Mammal Conservancy. Her first book "Raising James" (pen name Elizabeth Anderson) was published in November 2017 (Amazon.com) and is she is published in the upcoming 2018 Anthology,"Florida" by Precious Publishing. Her next book, ""ANA is a Florida History Mystery for grades 4-8 and is scheduled for publication, December 2018. Mrs. Ambrose and her husband Russ live in Palm Bay. They have a son, Joseph and a daughter Jeanne (married to son in law Josh) and 2 dogs, T-Bone and Roscoe.
