We are so excited to serve you, the young adults of our community.

We are committed to the mission of HNJ Young Adults and to serving our fellow young adults and the wider parish and community.

You can call me Joseph or Joe. I'm in my early twenties, and like many people in Melbourne I'm an engineer. I've called the Space Coast home since I was in middle school. I enjoy the launches, the surf, the turtles, and the mangos that make this part of the country unique. I also love playing music (I just wish I were better at it). To me HNJ has always felt like family, and I hope you feel just as welcome.

“Pray, hope, and don’t worry.”- St. Padre Pio

Hi beautiful people! My name is Anna. I'm in my early twenties and currently working in food service. I moved to Melbourne after graduating from UCF in 2016 and am loving it so far. What do I like to do when I'm not working? I love watching movies, going dancing, and creating art. And I'm also an event planner (that's what I studied in college) so expect some good parties out of me! I especially love working in ministry. I've served on leadership for the Catholic Knights at UCF for three years and now I am happy to be here to help serve you all! Hope to see you all around soon.

"If you are what you should be, you will set the world ablaze!" -St. Catherine of Siena

Well hello there! My name is Michael, and I'm in my early thirties. I have a Masters in Computer Engineering and work as a software engineer for a major defense contractor. From 2013-2015, I was in a leadership development program at my company that moved me all around the country, including Indiana and Arizona. While I'm from St. Louis, MO originally, I moved to the Melbourne, FL area in November 2014, my seventh total city of residence. I'm active in many parish groups at HNJ, including Apertus et Viriliter (our weekly young adult men's group), the Knights of Columbus, Edge/Lifeteen, and HNJ Young Adult Retreats. I am a lifelong Catholic, Jesuit-educated in high school, and I give all credit and blame to the various Catholic communities that I have had the honor to "pitch my tent" with.

"Our hearts were made for You, oh Lord, and they are restless until they rest in You." - St. Augustine

Hey y’all! My name is Katie, I am in my early twenties and I am a graphic designer and small business owner. It brings me joy to create beautiful things! I have lived in Melbourne all my life, and I grew up at HNJ. I love being involved in ministry, spending time with friends, beach walks and swing dancing. The reason I am involved in HNJ YA is because I desire to grow closer to to the Heart of Jesus, to be connected to the life of the Church and to grow in fellowship with other young adults.

“Everything is grace!” - St. Therese of Lisieux

Hey there, I’m  Margie! I am so excited to be part of HNJ YA because I love encouraging people to dive deeper in their faith. I am the director of Youth Ministry here at Holy Name, and have been involved in ministry for many years. I love to spend time with my nieces and nephews, and hang out with friends. I am a great contact for getting involved here at Holy Name, I would love to help connect you however I can!
