During October, the Catholic Church in the United States celebrates Respect Life Month. To support this annual observance, the following activities have been planned to help us understand and value the gift of human life and help build a culture that cherishes and protects it:
Respect Life Novena – Oct 12-21. Visit Respectlife.org and sign up for daily prayer.
Friday Night at the Movies – "Bella", Fri, Oct 20, at 7:00 pm in the Life Center Hall. After Nina is fired from her waitressing job for being late, she leans on the restaurant's chef, Jose, for support. What Nina learns about Jose changes her life forever.
Public Rosary – Sun, Oct 22, after the 12:15 pm Mass in the Rosary Garden.
Pro Life Rosary – Sat Oct 28 , after the 4:30 pm Mass in the Chapel. Sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. Unique Adult Ed Opportunity as part of our Grow in Faith series on Wed. nights!
Reflection: "The stone which the builders rejected, has become the cornerstone.” Daily our unborn are rejected, discarded, murdered. Yet, despite the attempt to eradicate these innocents, Jesus, the cornerstone, will raise these precious babies to a new life in Him. Our Savior triumphed over death. He will bring an end to this blasphemous disregard of life. Never despair. Never lose hope. Pray unceasingly for the end to abortion.
