Important Parish Update

Dear Holy Name of Jesus Parishioners:

We give thanks to God for the opportunity to gather together as a community of faith, to worship the Lord with grateful hearts. We never want to shut the doors to our church ever again and may we never take for granted the great gift of the Eucharist!  As we have increased our attendance over the past few weeks, we have noticed the inability to safely embrace social distancing during our Sunday Masses. This concern has been raised by many of our parishioners. In order to keep our parishioners healthy and safe during our Sunday Masses, we at Holy Name of Jesus have prayerfully decided to mandate the wearing of face masks/coverings to prevent the spread of COVID-19. To repeat:

Face coverings are now required (mandatory) for all Sunday Masses, including the Saturday 4:30pm Vigil.

We ask that all parishioners please provide your own mask/covering, but if you are in need, we can provide a mask in the Welcome Center.

Please note, this only applies to Sunday Masses. Since the less attended daily Masses (7:00 am and 8:30 am) allow for the possibility of safe social distancing, masks will remain merely highly recommended but optional for the time being.

Please continue to pray for those who are sick and for an end to this pandemic. And pray for our courageous doctors and nurses who continue to serve and care for us.

Thank you all for your cooperation and may God bless and protect us!

Fr. Scott M. Circe, Pastor
