An Important Message from your Pastor-Hurricane Isaias

Dear Holy Name of Jesus Parishioners,

With Hurricane Isaias approaching, through prayerful consultation, we have made the following decisions for this weekend:

  • The 4:30pm Saturday Vigil Mass will take place as regularly scheduled. This also includes the regularly scheduled Confessions at 3:15pm. The Vigil Mass will also be live-streamed on HNJ’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/hnjcatholicbeach and uploaded to our YouTube Channel with a link on our homepage: www.hnj.org as well.

  • All Sunday Masses have been canceled out of caution for the hurricane.

  • The Monday morning 7:00am and 8:30am Masses will also be canceled so that we can do a proper investigation of our parish campus to make sure there is no damage or flooding. If all is clear, other activities will resume later Monday morning.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this challenging time. And please pray the Hurricane Prayer that the Lord will protect us from the storm.

Hurricane Season Prayer

God, our Father, Creator and Lord of the Universe, You have set the earth on its foundation and all the elements of nature obey Your command. We humbly beseech You to keep us safe from all dangers and calm the storms that threaten us. May we be secure in Your loving protection and serve You always with grateful hearts. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Fr. Scott M. Circe, Pastor
