God is Looking for a Few Good Men
All men are invited to the 2021 Men's Conference on Sat, Jun 19, from 8:30 am-12:00 pm in the Church. Our featured guest speaker is Tim Staples, a nationally known Catholic apologist who can be frequently heard on the Catholic Answers radio program on WDMC 920 AM Catholic Radio. After a four-year tour in the U.S. Marine Corps, he converted to Catholicism and spent six years in formation for the priesthood, earning a degree in philosophy and studying theology at the graduate level. Realizing that his calling was not to be a priest, Tim left the seminary in 1994 and has been working in Catholic apologetics and evangelization ever since. He will give talks on God is Looking for a Few Good Men and Catholics and the Culture Wars.
A simple breakfast of coffee, donuts/danish will be provided after the 8:30 am Mass on the Pavilion. This is a free event but onsite cash donations to help cover the costs of the event will be gratefully accepted.
