PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS

  • Helps carry out classroom routines
  • Demonstrates increasing motor control and balance
  • Demonstrates increasing control of small motor muscles to perform simple tasks
  • Uses eye-hand coordination to perform fine motor tasks

APPROACHES TO LEARNING STANDARDS

  • Shows curiosity and is eager to learn new things and have new experiences
  • Attends to tasks for a brief period and seeks help when needed
  • Approaches daily activities with creativity
  • Shows initial signs of planning and learning from their experiences

SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS

  • Adapts to transitions with increasing independence

RELIGION

  • Recognize God is our Father, and is the Creator of heaven and earth
  • Recognize that Jesus is God's son, born of Mary
  • Understand that we believe in the Blessed Trinity
  • Recognize (through Bible stories) that Jesus performed miracles to help people, and that Jesus said to love one another
  • Recall that Jesus had many followers (His Disciples)
  • Understand that through Baptism, we are member of the Catholic Community
  • Recite prayers, including the Sign of the Cross, Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be to the Father
