What's New in our Parish Library?
The Church Library has over 3000 items available for checkout including adult and children's books, audiotapes and videos. Here is a list of brand new books to help us strengthen our spiritual lives: Extreme Makeover, by Teresa Tomeo (a woman transformed by Christ, not conformed to the culture); Indivisible, by James Robison (restoring Faith, Family and Freedom before it is too late); Letters to Gabriel, by Karen Santorum (letters written to an unborn child) and Scripture Study, by George Ratzinger. Our Library is open after all Sunday morning Masses and Wednesday mornings.
It's a major feast and the "birthday of the Church" but the Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the Holy Trinity, remains largely a mystery. This three week series, "Learning from the Holy Spirit", will look at the Holy Spirit from three aspects: In Scripture (May 9); in the life of the Church (May 16); and, in our own lives (May 23). We will meet Wednesday mornings at 9:15 am in Rm. 101. Facilitated by Jim Curry. Info-Bill Gent, x139,
