HNJ Students Excel on All Fronts!
The students of HNJ Catholic School win lots of awards throughout the year in essay contests, science fairs, sports and more. And, its no surprise to their teachers and parents! Our students are well educated, work hard, and do their best in so many ways!
Recently, HNJ students won several awards in the Yom HaShoah Student Creative Arts Contest sponsored by the Holocaust Memorial Center in Maitland. Our Middle School Essay winners were: Alex Williams, First Place; Andrew Burley, Second Place, Brandon Voepel, Third Place; Chenna Cook, Honorable Mention; Kyle Ruiz, Honorable Mention; Ryan Craft, Honorable Mention; and Amelia Harrington, Honorable Mention. Our Middle School Creative Writing winners were: Nicole Hennessy, 2nd place; Shelby Schaafsma, Third Place; and Mackenzie Anderson, Honorable Mention.
Then, our Girls Softball team won the Championship in the Catholic Coastal League, capping off an undefeated season!

And, one of our 8th graders, Nicole Hennessy, entered a piece in the Melbourne Arts Festival and took home a First Prize in her category, as well as a Best in Show in the Brevard County Catholic Art Fair–a contest in which HNJ students won a great many awards at all levels.
