Who: American Cancer Society
What: Relay for Life 2010
When: May 1st and 2nd (Friday and Saturday)
Where: Melbourne High School
Why: This event is to
help raise money to find a cure for cancer. Over
102,000 Floridians are diagnosed with it each year.
Teams should be no more then 10-15 people. Each team is
asked to pay $100 to reserve their spot on the field during the
event. Survivors will be invited to a Survivor luncheon. Teams
should have a team captain, who will receive a team captain kit.
Also, teams are encouraged to fundraise money for the event and
bring baked goods or other items during the event (since everyone
will be selling during the relay.) There will be a team captain
meeting in September. If you have any further questions or
